The Hill Tribes, or High Landers, of Thailand live mostly in the northern region of the country. Their culture and beliefs are unique and sometimes counter to the Thailand government. To sustain life, however, they must often turn their attention outside of their agricultural endeavors, sterling silver craftsmanship being one of the ways in which they earn a viable living. As a result, great Hill Tribe silversmiths can be found throughout northern Thailand, each one implementing his or her own style into the jewelry pieces created.
These earrings are 2.5 inches tall, and crafted from a collection of stunning stones and beads from all over the natural world.

The delicate nature of the elements in these earrings demand extra care. To maintain the natural beauty of the various stones: 1) avoid exposing them to household chemicals like hair spray, perfume and cleaning products; 2) gently wipe them with a warm, damp cloth to remove body oils and perspiration.
Because it contains silver and other metallic elements, these earrings should be stored in an airtight container with a soft lining. Cleaning with soap and water and buffing with a soft cloth will maintain their metallic sheen. Avoid exposure to abrasive cleansers and bleach, which may cause discoloration of the Hill Tribe’s silver.
