Mongolian culture, tradition and everyday life has thrived on the energy of the circle since ancient times. The country’s symbols reflect this connection. The yin-yang circle on the Mongolian emblem represents reason and wisdom.

Similarly, the Mongolian flag contains several circular elements, including a crescent, a sun disc and a flaming base. Each of the universal forces that correspond with these elements--the moon, the sun and fire respectively-- exhibits its own power and energy.
