Handmade by jewelry artist Michelle Winston, this Emerald and Black Onyx Necklace & Bracelet Set surrounds the neckline in a leafy frond effect and swaths the wrist in a geometric floral array. The silver base of this necklace and bracelet set is accented with dangly black onyx drops and faceted emeralds and black onyxes. Measuring 17 inches for the necklace and 7.5 inches for the bracelet, this set’s centerpiece is a flowery spray of faceted emeralds and black onyxes.
This set is comprised of our Emerald and Dangle-Drop Black Onyx Necklace and our Emerald and Black Onyx Bracelet, both of which are also available seperately.

A rich black, nearly opaque, gemstone, onyx is a variety of agate, which is part of the chalcedony family of gemstones. The pure black onyx is rarely found naturally, making it a much-coveted gemstone. Chalcedony comes in a full spectrum of colors from white to black. At one time, all shades of the stone were known as onyx, but today that term is reserved for chalcedony of a black hue.
Thanks to their vibrant green color, ancient Egyptians believed that emeralds represented rebirth and fertility. As a result, many mummies were buried with emerald necklaces around their necks in an effort to afford them eternal youth in the afterlife.
Emeralds captivate the eye with their fascinating qualities. Their color saturation is the most beautiful, most intense and most radiant green that can possibly be imagined. A rare and precious gemstone, emerald inclusions are tolerated as an acceptable trait in the gemstone. Top-of-the-line, fine emeralds are even more valuable than diamonds. The emerald is the official birthstone of May.
This Emerald and Dangle-Drop Black Onyx Necklace & Bracelet Set measured approximately 17 inches for the necklace and 7.5 for the bracelet.

All gemstones, including emeralds and black onyxes, should be wiped clean with a soft cloth to avoid scratching their surface. Wash the stones with warm soapy water, gently brush them with a toothbrush and then wipe them dry.
Silver jewelry should be stored in an airtight container with a soft lining. Cleaning with soap and water and buffing with a soft cloth will keep your silver shiny as new. Avoid exposure of your silver jewelry to abrasive cleansers and bleach, which may cause discoloration.
