Aventurine is a form of quartz. The sparkling quality of the quartz mineral metallic iridescence to aventurines. Aventurine is a mica-flecked stone that comes in green, silver, yellow, reddish-brown, greenish-brown, bluish green and orange shades. However, the Aventurine crystals reflect a wide range of additional colors. Deposits of aventurine are found across the globe, including South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
